Freshman rushing RDU

NC 147-S—Fraternity and sorority rush season is officially here, which means students across campus such as freshman Joe Green are rushing selective three letter organizations like RDU.

“Everyone keeps saying RDU is so great, so I felt like it was a good fit for me,” said Green from the backseat of an Uber headed to the Raleigh-Durham International Airport. He added that “rush is a really confusing process, but I’m trying to get there as fast as possible.” Regardless, the rush has been “a five star rating” so far.

On the group’s selectivity, he mentioned that he "doesn’t imagine it’ll be too hard to get in to RDU, unless there’s a long security line.” Green did express some concern over the hazing process, which he heard can be “turbulent.”

If Green doesn’t end up at RDU in time, he may try to rush a Selective Living Group instead.
