Duke Dining ranked #1 for fifth year in a row by Duke University

DURHAM, NC—Duke University announced today that, for the fifth year in a row, the prestigious Duke Dining has been ranked #1 for college dining by Duke University.

“Thanks to Duke University for naming Duke Dining #1 for college dining,” wrote Robert Coffey, Executive Director of Dining Services, in an online statement. “This honor from Duke University reflects all the hard work that Duke Dining staff puts in to giving the Duke community the best eating experience possible. All our tireless faculty, third-party vendors, and valued customers have made achieving this #1 status on Duke University’s list of best college dining options for five years in a row a reality.”

Duke students expressed their unanimous agreement to the announcement. “Duke Dining is definitely my dining option at Duke,” said sophomore Jennifer Holt. She added that she understands why Duke Dining would be given such acclaim, given its “crown jewel, Marketplace,” on East Campus.

This accolade follows Duke Chapel’s recognition by Duke University as the best designed chapel, and Duke Gardens’ acknowledgement as most scenic college garden by Duke University.
